Our library extends its resources and services to alumni and community visitors, offering access to a wealth of information and a variety of facilities. Whether you want to continue your research, stay connected with academic resources, or explore our collections, we are here to assist you.
Services We Offer
Access to Collections: Alumni and visitors can access our extensive collection of books, journals, and digital resources.
- On-Site Access: Visit our library to explore our physical collections. Click here to see the print collections.
- Electronic Resources & Remote Access: Connect with the Library. Enjoy access to a wealth of online resources, including academic journals, magazines, ebooks, reports, and more, provided through a variety of research databases. Click here to learn more about eligibility and activation.
Borrowing Privileges: Alumni and visitors do not have borrowing privileges; however, they can make photocopies of all print materials inside the Library. As such, Alumni and visitors can request copies of no more than 10 % of the printed materials.
Copying costs are as follows.
- TT.30¢ per black and white page
- TT$4.00 per coloured page
Interlibrary Loan: Request PDF articles and book chapters from other libraries through our interlibrary loan service. This service is only available for persons who pay the guest fees.
Research Assistance: Our librarians are available to help you with your research needs.
- Research Consultations: Schedule an appointment with a librarian for personalized research assistance
- Workshops: Attend workshops on research strategies, citation styles, and effective use of library resources. Any workshop outside of the schedule will be at a cost for alumni and visitors.
- Ask a Librarian: Chat with or email our librarians for quick questions. Get help with finding and using library resources.
Study and Work Spaces: We provide comfortable and conducive environments for study and work.
- Quiet Study Areas: Designated silent zones for focused work.
- Group Study Rooms: Collaborative spaces for group work and discussions
- Study Carrels: Individual study desks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Technology and Equipment: Take advantage of our technology resources and support.
- Wi-Fi Access: Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Library. Please note, however, that our computers are for students only due to limited capacity.
- Printing and Scanning: Access printing, scanning, and photocopying services through the Circulations Desk. Payment can also be facilitated at this station.
Please note: While the Library is committed to offering the above suite of services to our Alumni and visitors, access to certain services and resources may be limited at peak periods throughout the academic year. Contact the library for further details.
