The Forde Library provides comprehensive library services to assist the University's teaching, learning and research operations.
Learning Support Services at Forde Library aids users with teaching and learning activities. Librarians work with faculty to incorporate information and academic literacy into the curriculum and build our Collection. Librarians may also be called upon to conduct workshops and presentations and provide general and course-specific tutorials and library guides to assist students in locating relevant information resources.
Library Orientation
Join an Orientation Session to ensure a good start to your studies and research. This introductory session will teach you how to navigate the Forde Library’s services and resources, both on and off campus. These sessions are done at the beginning of each semester.
Library Instruction
Librarians support all USC students and help them develop the lifelong critical information literacy skills needed to select and evaluate sources for academic research.
Workshops
Students, faculty, and staff can request workshops. Workshops can be held on Zoom, in a Library AVroom, or in any room on campus with presentation equipment.
