The Forde Library provides 3 networked PCs for accessing library services, collections, and library-subscribed electronic resources, navigating the Internet, and using the Microsoft Office suite. These computers are connected to a multi-functional photocopier located on the Ground Floor of the Main Library. Currently, only students can use the computers.
To log in to the library's PCs, you will need your USC ID number and password, the same credentials used for the Wi-Fi and in the Computer Labs across campus.
Guidelines for Computer Use
- If you plan to use an external storage device (e.g., a USB drive) on the library computers, please test it to ensure its compatibility and usability before starting your work. Some external devices may conflict with the computer's operating system or setup, causing it to restart involuntarily and lose all data.
- The Forde Library assumes no responsibility for any data loss that may result from using our Library computers.
- You are also reminded to log out of your account after each use to maintain the security and privacy of your data.
