Your USC ID card is your Library card. USC full-time or part-time students can use their USC ID to access resources and services and borrow books.
New Students
1. Log on to Aeorion
2. Click on the 'Activate My Library' link under "My Info" on your dashboard
3. Click the 'Activate Library Account' button
4. Follow the steps on the screen that follow to create your PIN (or reset your PIN if you have forgotten it).
Note: Your barcode can be found on the back of your USC ID Card. It is simply your Student ID# prefixed by 2999 for students (Total number of digits in barcode is 14. If your barcode is less, add 0's in-between the 2999 and your Student ID# until your barcode reaches 14 digits in length. Example barcodes: 29992015080100, 29990000015687)
Returning Students
If you already have a My Library Account but receive a "patron status blocked" message when attempting to log in remotely to the library's research databases, please follow the steps below to reactivate your account.
(Note: You must be fully registered with finance to re-activate your account.)
1. Log on to Aeorion
2. Click on the 'Activate My Library' link under "My Info" on your dashboard
3. Click the 'Activate Library Account' button

- Login ID: 2999 USCID# (e.g. 2999xxxxxxxxxx)
- Password: which you created
