The Forde Library aims to provide access to materials that support the University of the Southern Caribbean curricular areas, student learning, and faculty research.
Material Types
We consider for purchase or subscription access:
- Required and supplementary reading for courses and curricular areas
- General interest and popular reading titles
- Reference materials
- Scholarly journals
- Research databases and other online resources
- Material on and about Seventh-day Adventism
We will consider purchasing other materials upon request or demand.
We regularly evaluate use and coverage to keep our collection relevant and current. Items may be added or removed from our collection at any time.
Formats
Electronic formats are given first preference, with other formats considered either by request or when electronic access is not available or cost-effective. This provides better access to resources across seven campus locations and supports our online and off-campus students.
